Jennifer Pelko became Assistant Superintendent for the Strongsville City Schools in April 2015.
Pelko’s primary role, working with the Superintendent and Principals, is to ensure that student needs are being met through the curriculum and special education programs, as well as professional development for SCS staff.
Before her appointment as Assistant Superintendent, Pelko was Principal and Assistant Principal of Center Middle School, and taught Spanish at Strongsville High School for 11 years.
Pelko is a graduate of Strongsville City Schools, holds a BA in education from Bowling Green State University, and a MA in education from Ashland University. She earned her Superintendent’s license from Ashland University and is a National Board Certified Teacher, having demonstrated effective practice at the distinguished level of performance.
