Enroll a Student

Strongsville City Schools does not accept open enrollment students.

New Resident (Grades K–12)

Complete PowerSchool online registration and upload required documents.

Only parents, legal custodians and/or legal guardians can register students in the District.

If moving in from another District, do not forget to sign a release form from your previous District so they can send us the appropriate information.

Preschool

To enroll your student in Preschool, contact the Early Learning Preschool at ✆ 440.572.7046.

When prompted by district staff, click on the icon below to begin the enrollment process.

What You’ll Need (Documents)
  • Certified birth certificate or baptismal certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Parent/guardian valid photo ID
  • Proof of residency (utility bill, signed lease, or signed purchase agreement). If unavailable, use the district Residency Affidavit & instructions.
  • Legal custody/guardianship documents (if applicable)
  • If moving from another district, sign a records release with your prior district
  • If student/parents were not born in the U.S., include passport/visa pages as noted

Submit documents in the online enrollment portal during PowerSchool registration.

The registrar will confirm eligibility and stops during enrollment. Check streets without busing and your assigned elementary school here:

Class Scheduling

Upon successful enrollment, class schedules can be developed for middle and high school students.

Middle school students will select electives after the registration process is complete. The Registrar will share the appropriate link(s) via email at that time.

High school students must make an appointment with the high school guidance department to set their class schedule. The phone number of the high school Guidance Office will be provided to parents by the Registrar upon completion of enrollment.
