Purpose & Mission
Based on the feedback provided throughout our community engagement, themes emerged to set the "big picture" focus and direction for Strongsville City Schools that culminated in the development of Purpose and Mission statements for our District. These are key components of our strategic planning work.
Our finalized Purpose and Mission statements truly capture the complexities of why we exist as a District and what we do on behalf of our students.
Our Purpose is why we exist as an organization. It is our just cause and the aspirational goal of the District.
Our Mission is what we do as an organization to make progress towards our Purpose. It is our North Star. Our Mission embodies our Model Mustang, the thirteen year commitment to our students to provide them with a premier educational experience that is based on rigorous content and the integration of durable skills needed in school and in life.
